MORTON GROVE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - An elderly woman is suffering from serious injuries after being struck by a car last night in Morton Grove.
Police said it happened just before 8 p.m. Sunday in the 9200 block of Harlem in the northwest suburb.
A 2018 Cadillac sedan was headed south on Harlem when it struck the 72-year-old woman in the roadway. The victim is at Advocate Lutheran General in serious condition.
Police said the driver was taken into custody, and the investigation goes on.
