FOREST PARK, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — You can't put a price on love, but you can buy a heart in west suburban Forest Park.

Forest Park resident Rubia Robinzine has gotten an early start on Valentine's Day, selling large wooden hearts on her front lawn on Circle Avenue in Forest Park in the shadow of the Eisenhower Expressway.

An artist by trade, Robinzine told WBBM on a cold winter day that the hearts are made of wood with electric lights and she put the names of the buyer in the middle, whatever they want.

Robinzine, who is married and has three grown children, said she spends about an hour making each heart and also makes similar works of art for other holidays.

But, she said Valentine's Day is a little more special this year because these have been such stressful times and we need more heart.

"Enjoy life and take it day by day and have faith and keep on moving. That's all we can do. And help each other out,” Robinzine told WBBM.
