Four teens killed in Wheeling after 3-car, high-speed crash: Police

WHEELING (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Four teenagers are dead after a crash Tuesday night in the northwest suburbs.

Wheeling Police said the crash happened around 10:20 p.m. at Dundee and Schoenbeck Roads. Three vehicles were involved, so was speeding and at least one vehicle blowing a red light.

Police said seven people had to be extricated from their vehicles. Four teens, ages 16 to 18, died.

Police are asking anyone who saw anything gives investigators a call.

The Northwest Suburban Major Case Assistance Team's Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction unit is investigating.
