GURNEE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - There was a brazen hold-up at a fast food restaurant in the northern suburbs Monday.
Gurnee police said active Lake County warrants are out for the arrest of 43-year old Eric Gatlin and that, now, he’s a person-of-interest in Monday afternoon’s holdup at the Portillo’s at Gurnee Mills.
Police said the suspect pulled into the drive-up, showed a handgun and demanded money from the cashier, which he was given. Police said the robber was driving a white Ford Transit Van which had been reported stolen out of Round Lake Beach.
Police say no one was injured during the robbery.
