CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The Cook County State's Attorney is asking people aware of sex crimes and other criminal activity involving the Chicago Park District to reach out to her office.
State’s Attorney Kim Foxx said her office has set up a tip line asking people to come forward.
“I’ve done a similar plea before for victims of sexual abuse and assault to come forward,” Foxx said.
Then it involved R. Kelly. Now, it’s the Park District. And not just allegations of sex crimes.
"At this time I am asking if there is anyone who has been a victim or believe that they have been a victim of sexual abuse or assault or criminal activity at the hands of anyone at the Chicago Park District, you are encouraged to reach out to our office directly," Foxx said.
Foxx said people should call no matter how old the allegations are. The park district tip line is 312-603-1944.
