(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Two Illinois sisters have pleaded guilty to joining the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Sentencing for Trudy Castle of Chicago and Kimberly DiFrancesco of Elmhurst is set for Nov. 22. They each face up to 6 months in prison.

Federal officials say they became aware of the pair after someone shared photos that had been texted to their spouse by DiFrancesco. Federal officials say there were numerous images of the two women both outside and inside the capitol on January 6.

Castle's adult son was also in the area, but there's no word if he has been charged.
