NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Several jewelers were robbed Saturday night outside a Naperville hotel. Now, police are trying to track down a trio of suspects.
Naperville police were called to the Marriott Hotel on North Naper Boulevard just before 11p.m. on Saturday for a reported robbery.
Jewelry merchants were leaving the hotel after a private showing when they were confronted by three masked men. Police said the suspects forcibly took cases of their merchandise in the parking lot, and one suspect got into a struggle with one of the vendors before all three got into a van and fled the scene.
No one was hurt. The suspects are described as wearing masks, dark clothing, and gloves.
