CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police are investigating two break-ins that took place Friday night in the same Lincoln Park condo building.

Police said a 34-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man were robbed Friday around 11 p.m. by two males, who allegedly forced their way into the unit near Kenmore and Lincoln Avenues through the front door.

They took off after taking personal property from the couple, authorities said. No one was hurt.

CWB Chicago reported that about 45 minutes after the robbery, police found one of the victim’s phones in an alley a few blocks away.

Police said they received a report of a burglary in another unit of the same building but offered no details about what was taken.
