An alleged home intruder found out the hard way that he picked the wrong home Sunday.
The home invasion happened around 8:15 Sunday morning at 107th and State in the Roseland neighborhood. Chicago Police say a man forced his way into a woman’s home and the two began to physically fight. She stabbed him on the left side of his face and he took off.
He later went by himself to Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, where he was placed in custody.
The woman he allegedly scuffled with was not hurt. Detectives are still investigating the incident.
