
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A south suburban man was arrested this week in connection with a fatal shooting from 2019. Police said he was found in Wisconsin.
Eddy Vaughns, 33, was fatally shot Nov. 2, 2019 after getting into a fight outside a Roseland businesses on Chicago's South Side.
Now more than two years later, Chicago police tracked the murder suspect all the way to Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin.
Brian Wyatt, 36, of Harvey, was taken into custody Sunday in Fon Du Lac, and then extradited to Chicago. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
Police identified the Harvey resident as the man who fatally shot Vaughns multiple times near South Vernon Avenue and East 109th Street. Vaughns died at a nearby hospital.
