CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are investigating the discovery of a body found in a baseball field in Uptown.
Early Friday morning, the body of a man with multiple stab wounds was found in the 4400 block of North Marine Drive, that’s on the west side from Montrose of Lake Shore. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The discovery came as hundreds of people were gathering for a weekly event to jump in Lake Michigan at sunrise.
Police said the victim, a 64-year-old man, had stab wounds to his head and neck.
No one is in custody.
