A man was stabbed to death on a CTA Red Line train car in Englewood on the South Side early Monday.

The man was stabbed in the chest by another man during an argument about 3:05 a.m. in the 200 block of West 63rd Street, Chicago police said.

The victim ran about a block away to 63rd and Yale, where police and fire officials were called, authorities said.

He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he died, police said.

No arrests were reported.

Red Line trains bypassed the 63rd Street station as police investigated, the CTA said.

Last Friday, a man was seriously injured in a violent robbery on the Red Line on the Near North Side, according to police. The man injured at least two of the six attackers.
