(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — A Naperville man is accused of possessing guns after having his FOID card revoked.
Marcus Wise, 34, is charged with failure to surrender an FOID card and two counts of possession of a firearm without a valid FOID card, DuPage County prosecutors said.
Wise is also facing one count of illegal possession of a controlled substance, prosecutors said.

On Wednesday, while waiting for a judge to sign a search warrant for Wise’s home, officers saw Wise get into a vehicle, prosecutors said.
The officers pulled him over for committing a traffic violation and learned that there was an active warrant for his arrest for failing to surrender his guns, prosecutors said. Wise was taken into custody, and during a search of his home officers allegedly found two guns and cocaine.
Wise appeared in court Thursday morning where he was ordered held on $8,000 bail. He is due back in court April 5.
