(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — The COVID-19 pandemic has changed many things, including how riders use Metra. That's why commuters are being asked to complete a survey to help Metra meet those changing needs.

Spokesperson Meg Reile on Wednesday said the online survey will help Metra adjust schedules and restore service as efficiently as possible.

The suburban commuter rail agency is operating about 80% of the trains it did before the pandemic, while ridership is recovering more slowly.

You can find the online questionnaire at metra.com/survey.
