Tuesday, April 4, 2023 is Election Day for several cities. Chicago residents will elect their new mayor, between candidates Brandon Johnson and Paul Vallas, and Naperville and Joliet residents will also be attending polling locations as well.
Naperville residents will be voting for a new mayor. The candidates include Longtime city liquor commissioner and businessman Scott Wehrli, Naperville City Council member Benny White and Tiffany Stephens. If White is elected, he would become the first person of color to be mayor of Naperville.
Residents will also elect new members to the Naperville City Council.

Joliet will vote for it's new mayor and city council. The mayoral candidates include incumbent Joliet Mayor Bob O'Dekirk, local car dealer Terry D'Arcy and community activist Tycee Bell. O'Dekirk is running for a third term.
