CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Wrigleyville visitors or even locals can now catch a movie and have dinner at the same place.
Alamo Drafthouse Cinema's first Chicago location, opens next week at 3519 North Clark Street. Along with movies, the location will offer a full food menu with meals delivered right to your seat during films and even a 1980’s video store-themed cocktail bar.
The space was developed by Cinemark Theater several years ago, but COVID-19 delayed its grand opening. Alamos founder and executive chair Tim League told Crain's Chicago business visitors can expect a diverse platform of films at the theater, which expects to hire about 130 people.
