One woman injured in hit-and-run accident in Chicago’s River North neighborhood

One woman was hurt in a hit-and-run crash in River North, Chicago police said.

It was a T-bone crash at Ontario and Wells Streets, and it happened a little after 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

Chicago police said a Dodge Durango was traveling southbound on Wells Street and slammed into a Honda sedan, which was traveling westbound on Ontario.

A woman was driving the Durango and ran from the scene, according to Chicago police.

The driver of the white Honda, a 26-year-old woman, was taken in fair condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
