(WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Baby eagles have been spotted in a Will County Forest Preserve.
The pair was spotted by a photographer who is a frequent contributor to the Will County Wildlife Facebook Group. The same nest produced a couple of eagle offspring last year.
To protect the birds, the location of the nest is not revealed. The eaglets should start exploring outside of the nest about ten weeks after hatching. At around 12 weeks, they’ll start testing their wings.
They’ll remain in the area with their parents' supervision for the rest of the summer and into the fall.
