When Hugh, a 10-year-old Terrier mix, came to PAWS Chicago, he was in need of a good amount of TLC, including some dental care and a pedicure. Now, this calm older gentleman is ready to find his forever family.
Hugh is a very gentle and kind guy who loves to be around people. He is known for following his person around all day long. His favorite things include naps, back scratches and cottage cheese. Hugh is deaf, but that doesn't mean he can't live his life to the fullest. Although, it does mean that he won't be bothered by sirens, fireworks or any other loud noises.

PAWS Days of Summer
This summer, support PAWS Chicago while enjoying some fun in the sun with your furry friend. PAWS Chicago is partnering with Mariano’s and Goose Island Beer Company to host adoption events at select Mariano’s locations every Saturday in June. Participants can enjoy live music, treats for dogs and owners, free samples from Goose Island and much more. Every purchase of a case of Goose Island beer in the month of June will benefit PAWS.
