CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A new poll shows some bad news for Mayor Lightfoot and good news for some of her challengers.
The poll conducted for Crain's and The Daily Line shows U.S. Representative Jesus "Chuy" Garcia and Cook County Commissioner Brandon Johnson with much more support among potential voters than Mayor Lori Lightfoot.
Among the more than 1, 700 Chicago residents surveyed, Garcia and Johnson received the most support--tied at 25 % when potential voters were asked who they would vote for that day.
Former Chicago Public Schools CEO Paul Vallas racked up 15 % of the potential votes, and Mayor Lightfoot garnered only 11 %.
All other candidates received 5% or less and 7% of those polled said they were undecided.
