CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago rapper G Herbo has found himself in more legal trouble.

The 27-year-old rapper, whose real name is Herbert Wright III, was in a Cadillac Escalade with three others that was pulled over in River North on Sunday evening, Chicago police said.

Wright, who was in the back seat, according to police, was seen putting something in the center console.

Authorities said the driver was asked if there were guns in the SUV. He said, “No,” according to the arrest report.

A search turned up four guns and 248 grams of marijuana.

Wright doesn’t have a FOID Card, nor does he have a concealed carry license.

The charge approved by the state’s attorney’s office is a misdemeanor: unlawful use of a weapon. The others were charged, as well.

Wright has a pending federal fraud case in Massachusetts for allegedly using stolen identities for things like private jets and designer puppies.
