(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Music festivals will combine with autumn street festivals this weekend, as Chicago area residents soak up what’s left of the warm weather.

WBBM Newsradio’s Rachel Pierson has the latest roundup of activities:

—Punk rock returns to Chicago this weekend for Riot Fest at Douglass Park. This year’s lineup includes more than 85 punk rock, Emo and hip-hop acts, with headliners My Chemical Romance, the Original Misfits and Nine Inch Nails.

—If you’re looking for a more danceable beat, explore an iconic music genre in the place where it was born. The Chicago House Music Festival brings the sounds, history and culture of House music to Millennium Park.

—Hungry? You’ll find plenty of sizzling flavors at the Lakeview Taco Fest. Now in its ninth year, the annual event puts the tortilla-wrapped fave in the spotlight along with seasonal beers and live music.

—Calling all you cool cats and “meow”-vie lovers! Ahead of its spring opening in Wrigleyville, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is celebrating its 25th anniversary on Friday with special movie screenings of The Lion King and Cats at Lincoln Park Zoo. The interactive event includes animal chats, lawn games and a live DJ.

—Kick off the fall season at Family Fall Fest in Rosemont. Stop by Parkway Bank Park Sunday afternoon for a free family-friendly event featuring bounce houses, face painting and a petting zoo.

—You’ll also find all things autumn at Deerfield’s Harvest Fest. Start your Saturday with a trip to the Deerfield Farmers Market then make your way to Shepard Park for a live concert, carnival games and the village’s largest fireworks display ever.

—Maybe you’ve seen his graffiti murals around Chicago, but for the first time street artist Sentrock is bringing his works indoors for a solo exhibit at the Elmhurst Art Museum. Explore the story of "Sentrock: The Boy Who Wanted to Fly" now through January 15th.
