
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Police are investigating a carjacking that occurred Tuesday in River North.
It was about 7 a.m. when, police said, a doorman at a residential building on Kingsbury near Ontario was targeted. Police reported that a man followed him into the building and grabbed a fire extinguisher, threatening to hit him with it and demanding the keys to his car. The 26-year-old doorman complied.
The thief took his Toyota from the parking garage, hitting the door on the way out.
The man left another car that he arrived in behind.
