CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- There was a shooting late Sunday night in Maggie Daley Park downtown, and one person is under arrest, according to Chicago police.
Chicago police said a 23-year-old security guard was having an argument with a 34-year-old man around 10:20 p.m. Sunday night in the 100 block of North Lake Shore.
At some point, things escalated and police said the male security guard shot the other man in the abdomen.
The victim was taken in critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital. No other injuries were reported.
The security guard was taken into custody. Charges are pending.
