CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - An Illinois State Police trooper and two other people are hospitalized after a police chase early Wednesday morning on Chicago’s South Side.
Illinois State Police told WBBM a trooper lost control of their vehicle while pursuing a stolen car at around midnight near 95th and Cottage Grove.
CBS-2 reported the high-speed chase started on the Dan Ryan and ended with the squad car hitting a tree while the white Volkswagen being pursued hit a pole on the sidewalk.
Three ambulances responded, taking the trooper and two people to the hospital.
