(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Statues of Cubs greats Billy Williams and Ron Santo will be missing from outside Wrigley Field for at least the next couple of months.

Cubs officials said the statues of the two Hall of Famers are being taken by Patten Monument to Comstock Park, Michigan, where they’ll be cleaned and stored until being returned to Wrigley later this year.

The Santo and Williams statues had been on the corner of Sheffield and Addison.

According to Cubs spokesman Julian Green, that location is where the new Cubs sportsbook, or betting parlor, will be located.

The Williams and Santo sculptures will join a statue of Ernie Banks and the new Fergie Jenkins statue in a new location that has yet to be announced.  Banks’ statue is currently located outside the Cubs box office at Clark and Addison.

The Williams and Santo statues will be returned by the start of the season, Green said.
