CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Two people were taken to a hospital after a police chase ended on the Stevenson Expressway Friday morning.
Illinois State Police said a male and a female were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital after a single-car crash on the outbound Stevenson before Cicero around 6:35 a.m.
A trooper said the pair were in a stolen black Infinity that had been chased by police. The chase went from DuSable Lake Shore Drive onto the outbound Stevenson. The people taken to the hospital were said to have non-life-threatening injuries.
Two lanes of the Stevenson were shut down for a while as police investigated.
