(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Schaumburg Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi is back from a trip to Europe, meeting with U.S. military forces and intelligence analysts in Germany, Poland, and Austria about the war in Ukraine.
Krishnamoorthi spent most of last week on the Congressional visit. The Democrat is a member of the House Intelligence Committee, which oversees information-sharing with Ukraine and our NATO allies.
He said Ukrainians are using the information and the military hardware they are getting from the U.S. and NATO. He has hope, he said.
Krishnamoorthi said the Ukrainians could prevail because of their higher morale and will to fight.
