CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago police have issued community alerts for two sets of suspects wanted in connection with robberies on the CTA Red Line.
Police have put out CTA surveillance camera snapshots in the robberies of two people in the past week.
Police said last Tuesday one person was robbed by two men on a northbound Red Line train near the Morse Avenue Station. While one suspect said something to the victim, the other suspect came to the victim holding a knife and took the victim’s cell phone and backpack.
The suspects in the other robbery include three females believed to be about 18-years-old. Police said the three beat a victim and took all that person’s belongings on a CTA Red Line train at 79th Street Friday night.
