CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Three people are in custody after an armed robbery in Chicago’s Palmer Square neighborhood on the Near Northwest Side Monday night.
Chicago police said a woman walking down the street near Armitage and Mozart was held up by two men or teens with rifles. It was a little before 9:30 p.m., and the 51-year-old woman complied with their demands and was not hurt.
Police said the robbers returned to their car they arrived in and, along with a third person, were arrested after they crashed.
