CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Fun and festivities were the order of the day in the Lakeview neighborhood Sunday, as the Pride Parade was back for the first time since 2019. It was what happened at night in that community that was not much to be proud of.

The shooting happened in the 3100 block of North Clark Street. A 46-year old woman was hit in the abdomen and critically wounded. Two men were less-seriously wounded. No one is in custody.
In the 1000 block of West Belmont, police said a 24-year old woman was arrested after allegedly escalating a verbal argument by stabbing two women and a man. She also suffered a cut to her face and all four people were taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
Meanwhile, in the 3300 block of North Clark, a police sergeant was trying to arrest a man when he was punched by a 21-year old woman. She was arrested too.
