(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- An Arlington Heights woman was expected in bond court Wednesday after being charged in the fire at the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines earlier this week.

Des Plaines Police Cmdr. Matt Bowler said surveillance video shows 41-year-old Virginia Roque-Fermin setting the fire at the shrine early Tuesday.

Police say they also saw Roque-Fermin quickly walking away from the holy site as it burned and observed soot on her clothing.

Roque-Fermin was charged with one count of felony arson, police said.

The fire is estimated to have caused about $78,000 in damages.
