A mom in Texas is warning parents not to let their children watch the new Disney movie "Hocus Pocus 2," saying they will "unleash hell" on their kids.

Jamie Gooch, 33, went viral on social media after encouraging mothers to be the "gatekeepers" of their homes and monitor what their children watch on TV. That includes the PG-rated sequel to the Halloween cult classic "Hocus Pocus."

"A worst case scenario is: you unleash hell on your kids and in your home," Gooch told KWTX. "The whole movie is based on witches harvesting children for blood sacrifices."

She then doubled down by saying bluntly: "Do not watch this film."

"Everybody thinks it's fake and innocent, but they could be casting any type of spell that they want to, anything could be coming through that TV screen into your home," she warned.

Gooch, a mother of three, told KWTX that she's personally seen how things on TV have become "manifested in real life," though she didn't elaborate.

"I believe whatever comes in our TV screens: there are things attached to that," she said. "I've seen for myself the things that I've watched with my eyes or heard over a TV screen, they've become manifested in real life, and then I think 'Oh my gosh, what did I consume?'"

Gooch's family is of Christian faith and hasn't celebrated Halloween in years. She told KWTX there's a spiritual war being waged against homes in America.

"It grieves me, the thought of exposing our kids to darkness," she said.

While she knows her opinion might not be popular, Gooch just wants people to consider reevaluating some of their family decisions.

"If you don't agree with me that's fine, you need to go and follow your own heart and your own conviction, but for a Christian, we are held at a higher standard," she said. "Just start thinking, start thinking for yourself and even overthink, and consider all the options of what you're partaking in."

According to Disney, the live-action comedy "Hocus Pocus 2" is a haunting sequel to the Halloween classic which brings back the delightfully wicked Sanderson sisters for more comedic mayhem.

"It's been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before dawn on All Hallow's Eve."
