The Bears promoted eight players from their practice squad to the active roster Monday afternoon as none of their 14 players in COVID-19 protocols were cleared at the last minute for action. The eight players who were elevated are defensive back Thomas Graham Jr., defensive back Dee Virgin, defensive back Michael Joseph, defensive back BoPete Keyes, linebacker Charles Snowden, defensive end LaCale London, receiver Nsimba Webster and receiver Dazz Newsome. Offensive tackle Germain Ifedi was also activated off injured reserve, the team announced.

The Bears promoted four defensive backs after their entire starting secondary – cornerback Jaylon Johnson, cornerback Artie Burns, safety Eddie Jackson and safety Tashaun Gipson – landed in COVID-19 protocols.

In addition to those four, the Bears will also be without these 10 players due to virus concerns: receiver Allen Robinson, defensive back Duke Shelley, offensive tackle Larry Borom, quarterback Andy Dalton, defensive lineman Mario Edwards Jr., linebacker Joel Iyiegbuniwe, tight end Jesse James, running back Ryan Nall, receiver Isaiah Coulter and linebacker Sam Kamara.

The Bears (4-9) and Vikings (6-7) kick off at 7:15 p.m. CT from Soldier Field.
