(670 The Score) The Bears have ruled out running back David Montgomery (concussion) against the Vikings on Monday night and listed top top receiver Allen Robinson (knee) as questionable to play.

Montgomery suffered his concussion late in the fourth quarter of a loss at Tennessee last Sunday. He has rushed 131 times for 472 yards and a touchdown this season. The Bears could elevate veteran running back Lamar Miller from the practice squad to add depth. Cordarrelle Patterson and Ryan Nall would also factor in at that position.

Robinson appeared on the Bears' injury report earlier in the week, working in a limited fashion during practice. There's no strong indication that his status is in serious doubt for Monday. Robinson leads the Bears with 57 receptions for 712 yards and three touchdowns.

The Bears also ruled out quarterback Mitchell Trubisky (shoulder), nose tackle John Jenkins (ankle) and defensive back Sherrick McManis (hand). Tight end Cole Kmet (groin), tackle Jason Spriggs (knee) and linebacker Barkevious Mingo (shoulder) are questionable to play. Center Sam Mustipher (knee) is doubtful.

Bears center Cody Whitehair could be cleared to return from the COVID-19 reserve list and be activated ahead of Monday, coach Matt Nagy said. Should Whitehair be unable to play, Alex Bars would likely make his second career start at center.

The Vikings ruled out tight end Irv Smith (groin). Cornerback Cam Dantzler (concussion) is questionable.

Kickoff between the Bears (5-4) and Vikings (3-5) comes Monday at 7:15 p.m. from Soldier Field.
