(670 The Score) The Cubs will welcome fans back to Wrigley Field at full capacity starting June 11 when they host the rival Cardinals, the team announced Friday.

The increase to 100% capacity follows the city of Chicago’s transition to phase five, which marks a full reopening, on June 11. In conjunction with this change, the Cubs are adjusting many of their health and safety protocols.
Outdoor and indoor capacity restrictions are being lifted, physical distancing in the ballpark won’t be required and pod-style seating will be eliminated.

Cubs single-game tickets for the remainder of the regular season will go on sale Saturday at 2 p.m. on www.Cubs.com.

The Cubs (32-24) are in first place in the NL Central, 1.5 games ahead of the second-place Cardinals entering Friday.
