Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Big Ditch Brewing is teaming up with YMCA Buffalo Niagara for a third year in a row with the return of "Turkey Trotter", a brew made specifically for the yearly Thanksgiving event in downtown Buffalo. Big Ditch Brewing Company President and co-founder Matt Kahn describes it as a "perfect finish line beer." This year's YMCA Turkey Trot will be the 129th edition of the event.
Family Promise of WNY is hosting its 9th annual Choctoberfest Thursday evening from 5 to 8 at Flying Bison Brewing Company in Buffalo. The fundraiser is a celebration of beer and chocolate, with local beer from Flying Bison and chocolate from Park Edge Sweet Shops. Over 200 people are expected to attend. Family Promise is an emergency shelter for local homeless families.
The Buffalo AKG will host a Sip 'n' Shop event in the Museum's WIlson Town Square this Saturday from 10 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon. The event will feature 15 vendors, including The Roaming Buffalo, Peg's Hardware and Queen of Cups Ceramics.
