BUFFALO (WBEN) - As discussions surrounding a potential Bills stadium continue, Governor Kathy Hochul was asked Wednesday if the possibility of a downtown stadium is completely dead.
Interestingly, she didn't say 'yes' despite the fact that the Bills have identified a parking lot adjacent to the current stadium as the preferred location.
Hochul also added that we can expect the results of a stadium study in the near future.
'We are waiting for the results of a study that's been underway for a number of months now, and I think that will come out in the next couple weeks," said Hochul. "We're studying all the options - I'm thinking about this constantly; I'm talking with people behind the scenes to gather information, but we'll make the right decision for the people of Western New York."
WBEN reached out to a Bills spokesperson who said "PSE has identified Orchard Park as the preferred location for a number of reasons including cost."
