Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred just after midnight on Wednesday near Kensington Avenue and Poultney Avenue.
Police say one person was shot and taken to Erie County Medical Center, where the individual was declared dead.
Separate investigations are being conducted by Buffalo homicide detectives and the Internal Affairs Division. The Attorney General's Office of Special Investigations has also been notified of the incident.
