Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The Buffalo business community is thrilled with the renderings of the new Bills stadium. Business Backs Buffalo Football says the design emphasizes watching football and can attract out of town visitors.
Matt Davison says the group couldn't be more excited for the progress being made. "We wanted to see a stadium design that feels right for the fan base, and is very focused on game day experience. We think they've initially nailed it here with these first renderings," says Davison.

Davison says the most exciting part is the design's emphasis on watching football. "I think the chance to create one of the most intimidating venues for opposing teams in the NFL is exceptional, speaks to the talent of his current team and what we can do in the future," says Davison. He also believes there's an opportunity to become a great venue for premium seating and what can be done for suite holders. Davison also believes this can draw out of town fans. "Some of those amenities that will be a draw for folks outside of the region who want to come in and make this a tourist experience for them a venue that they want to travel to, to see their teams play," adds Davison.
Davison notes developments in suburban stadium locations such as New England and Titletown, around the Green Bay Packers Stadium at Lambeau Field make him think the same can be done in Orchard Park. "I don't know that anything has been pinpointed yet. But really what the opportunity is, is a great community conversation with the Bills and the town and then some of the businesses who have already invested in the area and then others who would like to build up in and around the stadium," explains Davison.
Davison believes that can make the stadium area a year round attraction, not just for concerts and sporting events.
