Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Secondary ticket sellers like VIPTix.com say prices for upcoming Bills home games are still high for the most part, even as the mercury goes lower.

Nick Giammusso of VIPTix.com says when it comes to getting a bargain for an upcoming game, patience is important. "Anything can happen in a season, whether it's an injury, or whether whether the team performs poorly, like the Bills have and in recent weeks, but you know, anything can happen," says Giammusso. He says things have started to calm down a little bit and that's indicative of the team's performance on the field as well as the weather.

Giammusso says December games are always a tough sell at the Bills ticket office but this year has been a little bit different because of the success of the team early on. "We're starting to see things relax a little bit, and as the cold weather hits more season ticket holders are are selling and the more tickets that come into the market, the prices start sliding a little bit," he explains.

Giammusso notes ticket prices for the Jets and Dolphins games are still high. "The Jets game, you know the Bills' loss in New York. So that's kind of a rematch game. And we're starting to see those tickets are definitely holding their value for sure the Jets game, as well as the Miami game," he says. Tickets for the Jets game are going for $170, and the Dolphins game the next week at $180.

Giammusso says tickets for the Patriots game in January are going down in price. However, that could change. "$100 and up that's being used to be a Christmas gift kind of game. But as the season approaches, that could be a very important game for the Buffalo Bills and whether they make the playoffs or not, which that's starting to shape up that way,," says Giammusso. He notes the value right now is in that New England game, because that could be a very important game down the stretch for the Bills.
