Arno is survived by his wife and three-year-old daughter.

"Words can't describe the devastation and sadness that they're feeling right now," said Vincent Ventresca, President of the Buffalo Professional Firefighters Local 282. "It's just unimaginable and just shocking, they're just so distraught."

Ventresca says they are in the process of setting things up for a proper send off for their brother, this includes fundraising efforts to support the family.

"Western New York is just such an amazing community, people want to help. We are accepting checks at the union office." The address is 500 Southside Parkway Buffalo, NY 14210. You can mail-in or drop off your donations.

They also accept Venmo payments. That address is: @IAFF282

"That's all going into an account. That's all going to the family. It's all for the family. We just want to make sure they're well taken care of, because of this tragic loss," said Ventresca.

Donations are already coming in, Ventresca mentions a very generous donation has been received from the 100 Club of Buffalo.

Additionally, two GoFundMe pages have been set up to benefit the family of Arno. You can access them at the links below.
