Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Erie County Sheriff's Narcotics Chief DJ Granville has been placed on paid administrative leave after receiving three additional citations from Buffalo Police in connection with the crash allegedly involving him last year.

A statement from the sheriff's office says Granville was placed on administrative leave April 14th, after receiving three additional summonses by Buffalo Police. Granville is accused of striking several parked cars with his county-issued vehicle one year ago.

The crash caused damages estimated to have cost Erie county approximately $60,000 in taxpayer funds.

Buffalo Police have issued Granville three traffic tickets for leaving the scene of a property damage accident without reporting it.
