Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - An underwater investigation is ongoing that will assess the extent of damage to a shoreline wall along the Buffalo River on NFTA property at the DL&W Terminal near Key Bank Center.
The damage was reported to the NFTA last weekend and the affected onshore area was secured as well as an in-water perimiter for marine navigation.
The cause of the damage is unknown but the special underwater investigation should reveal some answers sometime next week according to NFTA officials.
