Williamsville, NY (WBEN) - Restauranteur Russell Salvatore woke up to find his popular Patriots and Heroes Park had been vandalized. The park is located outside his Russell's Steaks Chops and More restaurant on Transit Road.

Salvatore says vandals destroyed light fixtures, flags, the “Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,” “Battle of the Bulge,” and “America The Land We Love” displays.

Salvatore is currently working with area law enforcement to investigate, looking at surveillance video cameras from his restaurant hotel complex, surrounding businesses, and social media the vandal posted to.
