West Seneca, N.Y. (WBEN) - Congressman Nick Langworthy hosted Rep. Ellise Stefanik at a GOP luncheon Monday, where they, amongst other Republican officials, expressed their concerns with Governor Kathy Hochul and the future of New York State.
Rep. Stefanik began her speech with a message to Gov. Kathy Hochul: "We're going to win Erie county, which will vote red in 2026."
Stefanik, Chair of the House Republican Leadership, stood amongst Rep. Nick Langworthy (R, NY-23) who backed her claims and also demanded a change in governor come next November.
"Kathy Hochul doesn't give a damn," said Rep. Langworthy in response to Gov. Hochul's green energy initiatives for New York. "This election has to end that reign of terror," continued Langworthy.
Rep. Stefanik has yet to announce her campaign for governor, but has mentioned a continuation of her tour across New York to talk to constituents and have them listen to her message.
Stefanik emphasized, "It's not just Republicans, it's Independents and Democrats as well who realize she is a failed governor." Across New York state Stefanik has seen and heard people fed up with all types of problems.
"Whether it's the unaffordability of New York state, whether it's the crime crisis, whether it's her lack of support for natural gas. So many issues that are piling up," continued Stefanik.
As she continues her tour across the state of New York Rep. Stefanik urges people of New York to pay attention to what's going on in Washington and see that change in leadership can only be done now for the state of New York.
This campaign is meant to be the one that runs directly against current Governor Kathy Hochul next November.
