Warren, PA (WBEN) - A massive manhunt continues for Michael Burham after the man described as a 'survivalist' escaped from the Warren County Prison in Pennsylvania late Thursday.

Police are continuing to urge residents to be 'vigilant' and lock their doors while they search for the man suspected in a Jamestown murder and leading police on a manhunt that took them to South Carolina before eventually capturing him.
Late Friday, police agencies surrounded a home on Water Street in Warren, however no information on why the home was being targeted was released and the massive search involving at least a dozen law enforcement agencies continues.
Police are now asking for the public to help by reviewing any pertinent security footage from late Thursday. A notice being distributed is asking that property owners in the vicinity review personal and commercial security footage from July 6 at 11:20 p.n. to 12:20 a.m. July 7.
Burham was last seen wearing a jail issued blue denim coat and white and orange striped pants and orange shoes. Anyone with information is asked to call Jamestown Police confidentially at 716-483-8577.
