(WBEN) - The NFL has released ticket information for a potential neutral-site AFC Championship game between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs that would take place in Atlanta, Georgia.
Because the Bills and Chiefs played an uneven number of games this season, should they both win and advance this weekend and meet at the AFC Championship the game will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
Tickets for that potential game will go on sale Wednesday morning at 10:00AM to season ticket holders from both teams who previously opted in to purchase AFC Championship game tickets. Season ticket members will be contacted via email and provided more information, including a unique passcode to access Wednesday's presale.
Fans that had not previously registered to purchase tickets can sign up to participate in a presale that will begin Friday at 10:00AM. Any remaining tickets would go on sale Monday, January 23.
These ticket sales would only apply to a neutral site AFC Championship game between the Bills and Chiefs on Sunday, January 29. If the game is not played in Atlanta, all ticket purchases would be refunded.
