3-year-old boy dead, 7-year-old remains hospitalized after being struck by gunfire in Buffalo

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo police say a 3-year-old boy has died at Erie County Medical Center on Saturday in connection with a shooting on Friday night.

Ferry-Fillmore District officers responded to the call to the first block of Domedion Avenue just before 9:30 p.m. ET.

Police say his 7-year-old sister was grazed by gunfire, and is currently being treated at Oishei Children's Hospital.

Buffalo police is scheduled to provide an update on this incident during a 3 p.m. ET press conference Saturday afternoon.
