Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - With opening day of the new Buffalo Bisons season coming this Tuesday at 2 o'clock against the Worchester Red Sox, the Buffalo Bisons unveiled some new food and gear as well as the return of some fan-favorite promotions that fans can enjoy when the arrive to Sahlen Field.

Food & Drink

Whether you're eating in the seats or up top indulging in some local brews at the new bar at Consumer's Pub at the Park restaurant, Bison's fans can expect to enjoy a vast variety of new food and drinks this season.

Something that stands out are the new polish cuisine options, like the Sweet Cheese, Kraut Potato and Bacon Perogies from Alexandra's Pierogi and the special "Polish Poutine," that will feature sweet cheese pierogi topped with bourbon gravy and pork belly, an interesting take that may intrigue the fans coming from Southern Ontario.

"It's been about four years since the border has been open fully," said Bisons General Manager Anthony Sprague. "I know at the end of last year it was open a little bit but this will be the first time in full that we're hoping to have Canadian fans back, a huge part of our fanbase is with the parent company, Toronto Blue Jays and and we're excited to have the fans back."

As Sahlen Field is not Sahlen Field without the hotdogs, Sahlen's hot dogs are bringing to the park their new mini Smokehouse Cocktail Weiners which are served with your choice of mac n' cheese or baked beans coated in brown sugar and bacon bits.

Chicken Pot Stickers with spicy dipping sauce will also be a new addition to the food lineup and for dessert, frozen bananas served with a variety of different toppings.

Beer from your favorite local breweries are back and better than ever for this season. The Resurgence Brewing Happy Hour will make a return before every Honda Friday Night Bash, which will get even bigger this year the addition of the Resurgence Beer Garden located on the first base side of the ballpark.

There will be more selection in beer choice when "Labatt-urdays" kick off on June 17th. Big Deal Brewing lager will be available as well as your classic Blue and Blue Light for $4 from 5-7.

Thirsty Thursdays at the field will feature Juice Jolt IPA from Southern Tier Brewing and an interesting feature is the Adult Popsicles, which have flavors of bourbon-based Ginger, Cola and Apple.

Last but not least, Ilio DiPaolo sauces, marinades and select entrees like italian sausage will be featured in the pub's all-you-can-eat buffet adding an extra flavors to the profile.

Mobile Ordering

Bisons fans will now be able to utilize a new mobile concessions ordering service by scanning a QR code available at the field or on the scoreboard to order and pay for your food right on your mobile device to avoid the line and avoid missing any of the baseball action.

Bisons GM Sprague says to start, there will be a limited menu of food and beverages that will be available for pickup behind home plate. As the season progresses, they hope to add more pickup locations and more options.

Marvel-designed Alternate Jerseys

The Buffalo Bisons will be wearing new MARVEL alternate jerseys, which features a bison covered in ice, during their special Defenders of the Diamond game on May 19th as well as the Marvel's Super Hero Night on Saturday, September 9th. Merchandise is out now.

Ballpark Promotions

Every Tuesday, you can get a Sahlen's dog for $2 on TWOs-day and on Fridays are Family Fundays, where a Pre-Game Mascot Meet n' Greet is available for the youngsters as well as other kid entertainment options like balloon artists, face painters and more!

Other fan-favorites returning to the park after a three-year haitus... Mystery Ball on August 29th, Team Photo and Autograph Day on September 3rd and the ZOOperstars! coming to the field on July 30th.
